The Shepherding Ministry is UCCP-EMC's response to God's call to minister and be there. It specifically actualizes the care ministry of our Lord Jesus at our present time. It reaches out to members and non-members alike. The ministry maintains thirty trained and committed church member-volunteers formed into ten visitation teams.

The Ministry of Presence is expected in the following programs:

- Counseling Ministry
- Sunday Care Ministry
- Celebration of Life
