Christian Learning & Leadership Development (CLLDC)

Vision

The Christian Learning and Leadership Development Center is an ecumenical training and resource center for the development of lay leaders and church workers towards an excellent and purposive leadership in their local churches.

Mission

The CLLDC is a dynamic instrument committed to the:

1. Enhancement of the capability of church workers and lay leaders in the full use of their God-given gifts towards the building up of renewal of their local churches.
2. Promotion of ecumenical and biblico-theological understanding of Christian faith through academic course and experiential activities.
3. Development of student potentials for church work and eventual ordination in the UCCP and other NCCP-related churches.

Course Offerings

Bachelor of Ministry (BMin)

This ladderized program is open to all Christians who have finished at least a secondary education and is accepted both by the United Methodist Church and the UCCP for ordination and for clergy membership in the conference.

The course is composed of a six block cycle that can be completed in 3 years/6 semesters. Every block is self complete and is not a pre-requisite for the other blocks. The students can start by enrolling in any of the six blocks.

Requirements for Admission

High School Diploma
Form 120 (Report Card)
Letter of endorsement by the conference and/or local church
Certificate of good health
ID picture (2 copies 1 x 1)

Master of Ministry (MMin)

The program is open to all college degree holders with a minimum grade average of 85% (B+) or its equivalent. The students are required to have some years of experience in local church work and is expected to continue to get involved in their local churches as part of the course requirements.

The course is trimestral and its academic requirements are completed in 6 trimesters at 3 terms/year. The students are expected to do their practicum in their local churches under the supervision of their local Pastors.

A thesis is required for graduation in this program
